Sons,
It has been a while since the committee has sent an update on the comings and goings of the committee but we finally have an update for you that is both very promising and very exciting. In two weeks we will release the full details of this development but for now we will be releasing a few and ask for you to keep your ears and email open as the election season heats up.
In an unprecedented move two weeks ago the chairman recieved a promise by a state representative to sponsor the National Veteran's Highway through Texas on US Highway 62. The chairman has made a copy of the bill (Resolution) and is awaiting TXDOT to come back to him with figures as to the cost of the signs. This very well could get passed in Texas next January and could be the second legislative accomplishment of this committee. We will let you know in two weeks when we have sent the bil to the representative then we are going to ask you all to get us co-sponsors for this bill.
Looking forward to passage next session!
