For those that do not know, the recent resignations of the Commander and Vice Commander of the Division has put me in the lead as I am the next Division officer and Past Division Commander. I am having to catch up on the details of getting the meeting in order. I am currently waiting on the Legion Division Commander to get me the details of the agenda. I will be contacting the host Post for further details tomorrow (Wednesday). We are looking for people looking to serve as officers. We need a Commander, Vice Commander, Sergeant-at-Arms, Chaplain, and Historian. I will complete my 2-year term as Adjutant. District Commanders, please be sure your Squadrons are contacted regarding the convention. There were several Squadrons that had no contact information in the current blue book. I will snail mail hard copies to to the Post addresses but I need you Commanders to reach out so everyone knows about the meeting. While the call letter only lists Saturday, May 31, I have been told there will be social time on Friday evening, Likely a dinner on Saturday night, and possibly a Memorial service on Sunday June 1. Finally, I know there are details for the event that are missing because I do not know them yet myself. I am working on it. I will get the details as soon as I have them. Please be patient as I try to catch up at the last minute.
