I want to say THANK YOU to all members of the Detachment of Texas for your support in our latest fund-raising effort for Boy' s State. I must say everyone came through in the finest way ever. However, we as Team Texas can't stop there. It is now time to move on to our next fund-raising effort. Our next project will be Camp Hope. Our goal is to raise $2500.00 by our Detachment Convention in July. Please send all checks to my home address and make the checks payable to: PTSD Foundation of America and in the memo section, write your Squadron/District/ Division number with the word donation. Finally, in the attachment it talks about the BBQ Cook-Off Camp Hope puts on in November. I believe this Detachment can support and sponsor 2 teams with entry fees and possible the cost of the meat. If you know of a team or you have a team, send me your information so we cna get you signed up. If any Squadron puts on a fund raiser to raise funds for Camp Hope, please take pictures, write a small report and send to me plus also to our VA & R Chairman Jean "Max" Maxwell.
